Hey all,

I've updated Jamba for 6.0.2. There are some known issues (see below) and I bet I've missed a few things still. But this will let you get on with playing. I'll make an effort to fix stuff in the lead up to WoD.

Known Issues

Item-Bar

Mounts and pets are temporarily no longer welcome on the item use bar. Blizzard has made changes to the way the mounts API works.
The current workarounds are rather complicated. [1]
I've taken the opportunity tidy up internally and this means pets are also missing out until I can concoct a solution.

Quest and Quest Watcher

The functions on the quest log bar (abandon all, share all, etc) may no longer work properly.
Quests in the Quest Watcher will not automatically remove themselves when done. As a workaround, you can click the Update button on all characters to
get a fresh list.
Because of the WoW changes to the quest log, I'm going to spend some time trying a few things to see if I can come up with an updated solution to some of the quest functionality.

Fixes

DisplayTeam
* Character portraits in team list should now stay zoomed in on the head rather than reverting to full body shots.
* If show reputation bar is on and a character has no faction selected the reputation bar will show "No Faction Selected" rather than crashing with a Lua error.

Item-Use
* Add a Clear Item Bar button at the bottom of the Item Use options to clear the item bar for a character.

Purchase
* A message will be sent if the character doing the purchasing has full bags.

Toon: Currency
* Removed Justice Points and Valor Points currencies.

General Bug Fixes for WoW 6.0
* Modules that use frames should find they can now be moved again.
* Modules that used the API function InCombatLockdown should work correctly now.
* Lots of changes to internal WoW API functions that used to return 1/nil to now check for true/false states instead.

It looks like Libs/UTF/utf8.lua is not loading somehow but I can't find where/why/how

EDIT: I thought the issue might be another addon messing with the string class but this happens even when Jamba* are the only addons enabled.

EDIT2: So this only happens under the following specific circ*mstances. When I have 'follow after combat' and 'delay follow after combat' set, then the Capitalise routine cannot find the utf8* methods for the string class. Clear the 'delay follow after combat' option and everything works fine. My theory is that the AceTimer library is somehow causing confusion with the string methods table as it's only method invocation that fails. Use string.utf8* or extract the function reference from the metatable and everything is fine.

For now I've just removed the delay option from my teams' configurations.

Thanks Iru for diagnosing the string utf8 problem. I didn't have that problem on the PTR. I wonder if it has to do with the new C_Timer implementation in AceTimer? However I just changed the calls to string.utf* like you suggested and the problem has gone away (for the moment).

Just noticed tonight that follow strobing doesn't appear to be working for me. Is anyone else having this issue?

I'm using ISBoxer and whenever I change from one toon to the next the master changes and the party all begins to follow the new master, but if you do something to break the follow it won't pick back up again until you either change to another character again or click out of the current window and then back in.

On a "bug" note, last night I was noticing that quest sync (the turn-in/accept with group part) would work fine for a while and then just completely stop responding. I just updated to 6.0.2.2 a few minutes ago so I'll try that a bit today and see if it's still failing.

Yup, same here, which is a huge pain as this is where I keep my health pots and quest items. Hope a fix is in the works. Thanks for your time and all your hard work on this addon Jafula! It is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Ugh! Donation much appreciated. Please let me know if you notice a pattern when things stop responding. I assume you have show Lua errors turned on or a bug grabber running.

This one is not an easy fix. I found the new template to use, but when clicking on the popup that Jamba makes it tries to run the script from the underlying system which causes another Lua error. In the release I have just made 6.0.2.3, I have disabled the popups from showing until I come up with a better solution. I imagine I'll just use some text rather than a popup...

Yarp, I goofed and put a "not" somewhere I shouldn't have. This has been removed now and with 6.0.2.3 you can use the key bindings with the item bar again.

I keep getting random toons "offline" when importing from isboxer.... Even after reexport and restarting it doesn't fix... Any ideas, it only started since 6.0?

You can try what I've been doing for the last couple years: enable the "Assume all team members are online" option. (Might be worded differently...not at home to verify)

The only downside I see from that is a bit of spam in the chat window when you have one or more that are actually offline.

fyi Jafula, the AdvancedLoot module has a bug - the Rare quality elements are all hooked up to BindPickup - looks like a copy/paste that missed getting updated. Easy fix ;)

On a different note, does anyone know why when I use interact with target to loot quest items from bodies (In WoW) I have to do it 3 times for all 5 to loot.. I have to press space bar to jump before I can retry or I get "item is busy message".. it's kinda annoying now :(

I have yet to figure out what's wrong with that either, though my guess is that it's got to do with the server optimizations they did in 6.0. Pain in the virtual butt, especially on Timeless Isle.

I'm pretty sure it's a bug - the AdvancedLoot module has some code in place to try and handle that fyi, might help ya

the chars it just shows nothing not even the the char it self if you reset the master or something then they show.

edit i can do [/jamba-team iammaster justme] and it seems to work using them online the chars seem to be far to behind with the channel. and the player x offline spam is doing my head in when i log one out.

Ah, I see. Probably why I never see that, as I use ISBoxer's /jamba-team iammaster macro when swapping windows and Jamba's "Promote master to party leader on switch" options, meaning I'm constantly refreshing things.

not sure if anyone encounter... my jamba quest auto complete's not working on my alliance team on uldum.. -_- my horde team in outland's working fine.. not sure if it's my config issue but all the settings are same as my other teams..

when i complete quests on my master.. the others dont auto complete...

OK, reproduced the "Won't turn in quests anymore" bug. It appears to happen when you complete the last item/kill on one of those auto-complete quests, such as Monstrosity in Jade Forest or the "An Urgent Plea" initial quest series. Once that pops and you click the bubble in the watched quests list (note: I am not using Jamba's quest tracker; I use the Blizzard one) to get the completion dialog to appear, it won't turn it in. And then every quest after that is broken for accept or complete. No LUA errors popped up, either. /console reloadui across all toons unstuck things, so it's a pretty easy workaround.

I am having two issues with Jamba and ElvUI playing nice. Its minor and could possibly be something in ElvUI and not Jamba so I will report there also.

In ElvUI, to pick up a spell and move it to another actionbar slot you must hold down shift (or cntl or alt by choice). When Jamba is loaded doing this causes the spell to be cast or the item to be used. When Jamba is not loaded there is no problem and the spell/item is moved.

The second issue is when Jamba is loaded, the ElvUI Actionbar macro text and keybind text options are reversed. In other words, when Jamba is loaded in order to show keybind and macro text on the buttons, the option to show them has to be deselected.

Probably bugs in ElvUI given all of the problems over there lately :)

sometimes i got error but not always.. didnt really notice when it didnt start to work.. shall try to reload the ui when this happens and see if it solve the issue...

Enjoy the coffee!! :) Figured I should toss something into the pot after using your fantastic work for so many years.

I've run into an issue with the latest iteration of Jamba, the Total value for the Currency display is showing double and rarely triple the amount of gold my team has. It only rarely shows the correct amount, normally after I turn an option off then back on, then push the settings, and update the total, but if I update it again - it may go to the incorrect doubled value.

Looks like 2149 should be

SelectQuestLogEntry( questIndex )

instead.

Related to that, toggle tracking - more specifically Track Off - from the Jamba quest bar no longer does anything. Will dig into that later.

EDIT: Additional issues with AJM:UpdateQuestLog

The simplest approach seems to be to just comment out every use of this function. Or the entire function body I guess. Most f the functions it uses no longer exist and everything still seems to work without invoking it.

by default ElvUI used Key Down as it's activation. Might have something to do with it.

Seconding that, I use ElvUI and it is a setting that is turned on when you install ElvUI.

All,

I am currently trying to setup 3 man teams for WoD. I've had 3 accounts, same bnet, for awhile now and have used Jamba pretty effectively for 2 accounts at a time.

The problem I ran into yesterday was that jamba saw updates to quest tracker as:
[Master]: updated
[Slave1]: updated
[Slave1]: updated

It seemed to be thinking the 3rd was just repeat info from the second. If that makes sense.

The bnet accounts are two old ones with their own unique names and a new account that was labelled "Wow1" when I bought it and added it.

Any thoughts? Am I dumb?

I double checked my team list on all toons. I can see the pushes getting made to all. etc..

If you have one account working great you can "export" the settings to the others. I suggest trying that.

Ok, a few serious things have come up from the cross realm support. I apologize, but I didn't have time to test everything and I figured you guys would be help me find bugs. Sorry EU players I'm not going to have a fix out before WoD starts for you.

Some things I'll get onto fixing tonight.

* Follow / follow strobing unknown unit error.
* Clique not working on display team frames.
* All team members appear offline if using channel.

Not here it didn't. I have the current character listed as "character-server" then the entire team is repeated in the list, without server names. So my comms doesn't work at all.

Edit: This was on a fresh saved variables. I wiped everyone on the last jamba build and this was the first jamba load for this team since the wipe.

ISBoxer recently had an update to use character-servername macros because of people playing multiple characters across separate realms. Before those players had to manually tweak their macros (or completely create their own custom set). If the character-servername is conflicting, then people who aren't playing on multiple servers can likely just go into each of their Characters in ISBoxer and remove the server name from them, but I'm not entirely sure what the issue is or if that's going to fix it.

Yeah I'm having problems with both Jamba and ISBoxer recognizing characters with the same name on different servers.

It will not push modules to other servers (regardless of if they are in party or not). ISBoxer also is not auto-adding the characters to Jamba. Jamba is also not auto-inviting other characters from other servers with the ISBoxer default key to do so.

When i try to manually add my characters as soon as i log out and back in they are all removed.

So, with the release I noticed the following problem (and, note that one character in the team has had a name change in WoW).

In my Jamba window, I see on character A:
(master) A-Servername
(slave) A
(slave) B

On character B:
(master) B-Servername
(slave) B
(slave) A

If I try and remove the "-servername" character, it immediately shows up again.

I can remove the other characters.

It looks like the "-servername" also is constant masters, cause trying to push any configurations wont work - The game seems to play ok other than not being able to push configs.

I tried
a) deleteing all wow configs (whole WTF)
b) clearing ISboxer config

non of it fixes it

any ideas?

I don't do cross server groups, yet. I rolled back to the previous Jamba version to keep up the isboxer support and restored my previous saved variables. I am confident this will get worked out soon enough. Its all good. Now off to dark portal ....... again!!

looks like it was something with my old settings. Created a fresh profile and started from scratch and it's working now.

Scratch that, relog or reload and i end up with may team with 1 charactername-server and the rest are just charactername

Same problem here folks. Can't really do much as Jamba and/or Isboxer keeps making a very strange Team list, and seems to kill any type of team communications, as well as other functionality.

I've seen CharacterName-ServerName
SameCharacterButNoServername
ToonNumberTwo
ThirdToon

And also seen [NO NAME/BLANK]-ServerName {or some such)
OtherToons, etc.

Not really enough functionality for me to play my teams right as of now. Wish I had a way I could help get things figured out, but my coding skills are ancient now...

Also, no huge rush as the servers are qued to the max due to latency issues. I'm not in any hurry, so hopefully they get things sorted out soon. Known issue. Wait and see.

Not really anyone online in the 'Multiboxer' guild they formed for the launch. I can wait a bit and see if they sort out the queue and latency issues sorted out before I do any serious stuff.

So it's any time there is a reload or restart that the team gets messed up. I've just started using this macro

I think some of the checks that rely on the character name are getting messed up as well. Noticed that the auto accept party invites from Team isn't functioning, and wondering if it's checking for the old CharacterNameOnly, and not finding it since Jamba is now using CharacterName-RealmName.

I once again reverted to 6.0.2.3 and the follow system is once again working. Possibly a minor bug in 6.0.3.2, or possibly something that got messed-up with a hotfix?

Still don't know if this is solely on my end, although I'm guessing it might not be since reverting fixed it, but I think it might have broken something to do with the Promote To Leader, and/or /jamba-follow strobeonme all command, as that's the macro I use to force a master switch when needed - do not need to do that other than the first time with 6023. Once I hit that macro on my first toon after inviting the party, I don't have to hit it again; all toons automatically switch to leader when I switch to their WoW window and become the 'follow-master' instantly. Install 6032 and my follow system and promote to leader system stop working.

--- EDIT - back to 6.0.3.2.

Still getting corruption in the Team List, bunch of blank TeamMember slots - no name, completely empty, and with the Minion tag on the right side of the Team List. Had 3 of them I think on my second toon, and two of them on the third / usually master toon. There weren't any on the first toon, so I forced the first toon to leader and pushed his settings to the other toons. Result was a properly formed list on all toons.

Next, I unchecked the Advanced settings for Assume Always Online and Boost Jamba Comms as I really don't want the extra burden if it's not needed and knew I needed to relog to test the new Team List anyway. That resulted in the team list on all toons being listed as offline, so now I'm re-checking Assume Always Online.

Of note at this time is that the system is recognizing when I switch windows/WoW instances/toons as I get the loot change update: You are now eligible for random loot. in the chat window, however, still not promoting to leader even though that option is checked (and I un- and re-checked it on each, still not promoting on switch).

Rechecked Assume All Online on all three of my toons and relogging...

--- EDIT logging in...

manually deformed my party on login to start fresh. Then opened jamba option panel on each toon (triple-boxer, 3 toons). Team List on each was now pristine and proper, realm-based, however, each toon was listed as the master instead of a single master.

Checked all basic jamba settings, everything looks good.

Reforming party using jamba slash command...

had to accept the party invite on the two 'minion' toons...

Thanks for all the work you do though, great addon :)

Loot change system does seem to be recognizing when I switch between windows/toons, just not the promotion system, or the toon name it's trying to use for the promotion is being incorrectly generated in the code.

That's all I think I can give you right now. I get tired easily but I'll try to keep an eye out and try any updates/suggestions.

Couple issues I've run into with the latest Jamba:

1. When I have the option: "Override: Set loot to Group Loot if stranger in group." set, it set looting to Group Loot any time I change characters.
2. Push Settings is not pushing the "Override: Set loot to Group Loot if stranger in group." to my minions. I have to go to each machine and do that manually (haven't tested whether that is a more widespread Push Settings issue)
3. I am able to put the Draenor zone specific ability onto the Jamba bar, but when I log in, it causes an error to pop up. I'll update this with the error next time I log on.

Mine is actually running very smooth since the new version 6.0.3.2.

Follow works perfectly
The minions accept and deliver the quests with master without me having to broadcast the mouse
The jamba quest watcher updates quests fine and progress is transmitted fine.
Jamba bar can once again be emptied from master without entering the interface on all

I still have an ekstra toon listed on my master and some of the minions says 5/20 but its a minor thing compared to the stuff that has been fixed by Blizzards changes

So big thumbs up from me to Jafula for all his hard work

Hey, guys, first thanks Jafula for all your hard work, your addon has made multiboxing a breeze for everyone regardless the interface they use.

For the most part Jamba is working fine with the latest patch for wow. I have updated it with curse every day, and so far the only things I have noticed are that the item bar doesn't update on all the toons when I add an item to it. I have tried push settings in "Interaction-Item Use" page, toggling the "Show Item Bar" and even though "Automatically Add Quest Items To Bar" is checked, so far no useable items i've obtained in questing has been added. However when I add the item on every account they are still usable, its just not pushing automatically at this time. So still functional for the most part.

The second thing I have noticed is that when I switch between toons and bring either of my other accounts into focus I get the notification in the chat window, server message from the addon "Character name-Realm is not in your party" (where character name and realm would be either name of the toon I have switched to). Though I don't see an adverse effect to this, I am able to join instances in the party fine (though I still have to master the WOD dungeons in normal mode :p ) I am able to quest fine, follow works after combat, and everything else I use Jamba for. Some things I don't use currently like the quest watcher, merchant sell items (I have used in the past but haven't updated to WOD trash items for auto sell or buy) I haven't had a whisper from anyone recently so I don't know how the forwarding is working thus far.

If I discover something else I will update you, though I know you are a busy person so please only fix when you feel you are able to. (I say this from the perspective of a person who works more than 12-16 hours per day including running a business with my girlfriend with my regular full time job, and I hardly find the time to update our store website so I understand that the regular life routine takes precedence.)

Um, not quite sure if my play by play was helping or if it was rather hindering...

It was helpful. Thanks for being detailed in your sharing and bug reports.

Couple issues I've run into with the latest Jamba:

1. When I have the option: "Override: Set loot to Group Loot if stranger in group." set, it set looting to Group Loot any time I change characters.
2. Push Settings is not pushing the "Override: Set loot to Group Loot if stranger in group." to my minions. I have to go to each machine and do that manually (haven't tested whether that is a more widespread Push Settings issue)
3. I am able to put the Draenor zone specific ability onto the Jamba bar, but when I log in, it causes an error to pop up. I'll update this with the error next time I log on.

I have fixed the two Group Loot issues. Could not reproduce the other issue.

still not working, and HP/mana bars do not move when char loses hp/mana it seems to be working without -servername. but with the server name nope.

my server name is Aggra (Portugués) ((((<< guessing the (stuff) is the fail)))

There was a problem with the addon code, so HP/mana bars should start working again in 6.0.3-3.

Mine is actually running very smooth since the new version 6.0.3.2.

Follow works perfectly
The minions accept and deliver the quests with master without me having to broadcast the mouse
The jamba quest watcher updates quests fine and progress is transmitted fine.
Jamba bar can once again be emptied from master without entering the interface on all

I still have an ekstra toon listed on my master and some of the minions says 5/20 but its a minor thing compared to the stuff that has been fixed by Blizzards changes

So big thumbs up from me to Jafula for all his hard work

Hey, guys, first thanks Jafula for all your hard work, your addon has made multiboxing a breeze for everyone regardless the interface they use.

For the most part Jamba is working fine with the latest patch for wow. I have updated it with curse every day, and so far the only things I have noticed are that the item bar doesn't update on all the toons when I add an item to it. I have tried push settings in "Interaction-Item Use" page, toggling the "Show Item Bar" and even though "Automatically Add Quest Items To Bar" is checked, so far no useable items i've obtained in questing has been added. However when I add the item on every account they are still usable, its just not pushing automatically at this time. So still functional for the most part.

The second thing I have noticed is that when I switch between toons and bring either of my other accounts into focus I get the notification in the chat window, server message from the addon "Character name-Realm is not in your party" (where character name and realm would be either name of the toon I have switched to). Though I don't see an adverse effect to this, I am able to join instances in the party fine (though I still have to master the WOD dungeons in normal mode :p ) I am able to quest fine, follow works after combat, and everything else I use Jamba for. Some things I don't use currently like the quest watcher, merchant sell items (I have used in the past but haven't updated to WOD trash items for auto sell or buy) I haven't had a whisper from anyone recently so I don't know how the forwarding is working thus far.

If I discover something else I will update you, though I know you are a busy person so please only fix when you feel you are able to. (I say this from the perspective of a person who works more than 12-16 hours per day including running a business with my girlfriend with my regular full time job, and I hardly find the time to update our store website so I understand that the regular life routine takes precedence.)

Thanks for the kind words. It is hard juggling work, wife, daughter (+birthdays), fixing Jamba and then still trying to find time to play the game! Anyway, sounds like the team don't trust each other. Upgrade to 6.0.3-3 and make sure each character has the same team list as every other and that all the team names are correct. You should be able to push team settings from one to all the others. If you can get that to work, then the rest (including item bar) should fall into place.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. Yes, I am using the Invite Team (SHIFT-ALT-I) Key Map in ISBoxer, not the Jamba team macros.

With regards to the "Zone Ability", I've researched it and I believe the button is called "Garrison Ability". It is the button that shows up in the center of your screen in various zones in Draenor. When I drag that to the Jamba Bar it works perfectly for all my toons, however when I log in I get the following error. That said, the button still seems to work fine so the error just seems to be a cosmetic issue.

One other thing I've noticed is that occasionally the quest windows don't close on the minions. I haven't paid attention to whether it is on Accept or Complete (or both). The windows close the vast majority of the time, but every once in a while it almost seems like when I press Accept on the Master window, the minion quest windows close and then immediately reopen. I haven't had any issue with the minions actually accepting or completing the quests, but sometimes, even after they have accepted or completed the windows stay open.

Guess I'll go ahead and upgrade from 6.0.2.3 to 6.0.3-3 tonight. I've been putting it off since 6.0.2.3 works flawlessly for me except for the popup field quests forcing me to reloadui.

Hi,

Jamba is an awesome addon which i've been using for a while. Thanks for such a great addon. Today I updated to latest version 6.0.3-3 but i had some problems. So i cleared Interface, WTF and Cache folders, installed Jamba again and set all the settings again but the problems remain. Following are the problems that i'm having:

- On using "/jamba-team invite" the minions doesn't auto accept the invitation although "Accept from team" and "Accept from friends" settings are enabled. The only way to make the minions to auto accept the invitation is to have them in the same guild as master and enable "Accept from guild" option.
- When the master gets a new quest it shares them with others but none of the minions auto accept the quest although the settings "Accept Quests", "Toon Accept Quest from Team" and "All Auto Accept ANY Quest" are enabled
- On using "/jamba-follow master all" an error saying "Unkown Unit" is displayed on minions' screen
- If i enable "Use different master for follow" and specifically set it to the master, then on using "/jamba-follow master all" the following error is displayed on minions' screen:

Since the error is occurring in utf8.lua i thought that character names are the cause. My realm's name is "Chamber of Aspects" and my characters have no non-english characters in their names. Maybe the spaces in the realm's name are causing problems?

All those problems are because the team is not recognizing each other. Perhaps you are right about the realm name. I am going to need to do some investigating. Sorry about that. I'll have to build a character or two on a realm in the US with spaces in the name. Will probably be able to get to it in a few days (or later today if I have time).

In the meantime if you really need to play, you could go back to version 6.0.2-3.

I'm using the current build of Jamba with the Advanced Loot option turned on. If I click interact-with-target more than once targeting a mob with this option on, it disconnects me on all my characters.

What gives?

Not sure if this is the real reason or the only reason. This happens to me too and it often happens when I collect quest item drop and the amount on corpse exceeds what I need. It seems Jamba intervenes and wants to loot everything and in fact you cannot. Then the server kicks me.

I checked most of the other toons on that account and they share the problem. Automatic quest sharing and accepting, completing, etc. works fine as long as the "bad" toon is the leader, although Flight Path acceptance isn't automatic. I'm assuming there's a bad XML configuration file hiding somewhere that if I deleted it, the problem would sort itself out. I tried the reset profiles thing and it had no impact. If you could point me at what I should delete, I'll delete away.

I went into WTF/Account/{AccountName}/{Server}/{Character}/AddOns.txt and saw that a bunch of Jamba stuff was disabled (as well as a few other minor addons I hadn't noticed). Easy to compare and constrast to the lvl 100 character on the same account with everything properly enabled. Logged in, /jamba, and saw all the modules. So, resolved (hopefully).

After upgrading to WoD I've had some problems with Jamba. Members of my team never auto accept group invites any longer. Also whenever I want to switch master it doesn't work automatically even though focus changes. I must instead every time open the Jamba interface and set the new master manually, otherwise auto follow after combat will have all chars follow the old master.

I've tried to reset the profile and reconfigured everything, but it still is the same.

It's once mentioned that cross-realm support is added but there's some issue identifying your characters. I'm sure it's being investigated. Currently, I guess you'll just have to switch window and click that accept button, or set up a 4-step macro telling each toon in sequence to accept request (using ISBoxer in this case).

Every time I invite my slot 3 toon he just leaves instantly, even when I don't use the isboxer key binding. It happens to all my teams.

it doesnt matter how i accept the party invite the toon always leaves after getting into the group.

You likely need to start looking at your other add-ons which have some sort of "auto accept" function, and disable it.

Can you try something for me to see if this will make it work for you?

Edit the file JambaDisplayTeam.lua in the Jamba-DisplayTeam folder.

In the following lines, change "none" to "short".

Line 572 goes from

Can you try something for me to see if this will make it work for you?

Edit the file JambaDisplayTeam.lua in the Jamba-DisplayTeam folder.

In the following lines, change "none" to "short".

Line 572 goes from

healthBarClick:SetAttribute( "unit", Ambiguate( characterName, "none" ) )

to

healthBarClick:SetAttribute( "unit", Ambiguate( characterName, "short" ) )

and line 595 from

powerBarClick:SetAttribute( "unit", Ambiguate( characterName, "none" ) )

to

powerBarClick:SetAttribute( "unit", Ambiguate( characterName, "short" ) )

Reload your UI and see if that helps clique work.

that works great!!! and tried with chars on my server and not on my server.

now if i could find out why its jamba hangs so much and lags behind i would be super happy with it i tryed everything from resetting my config.wft to isboxer profile to remove every addon but jamba even changed the channel they talk on and it still does it :S

Quests say i handed then in up to 10mins ago. i just can not find a fix.

And not sure but auto group inving does not seem to want to work as of now.

I'm sure this would be added in the next version but currently I still want to check the amount of Apexis Crystal and Garrison Resources on my toons at a glance so I did the following:

- Open JambaToon.lua
- Find the section "Currency Identifiers"
- Pick two outdated currency and change their 3-digit numbers to 823 (which is Apexis Crystal) and 824 (which is Garrison Resources)

PS #1 I was too afraid to break things so I didn't change the name of currency :D
PS #2 Seal of Tempered Fate is 994

Jamba is setting the new master looter via CharacterName-RealmName, which is not an acceptable format for the /master command. If you manually type /master CharacterName-RealmName the client will redact it to CharacterName only, while you type it. Not sure how this is going to work with cross realm groups and same name characters.

My current work around is using IsBoxer to send the /master command with current slot character name only when I do group-leader/Jamba-master swaps. This requires two button pushes to set master looter due to the delay in changing the group leader.

Hello,
I seem to have problems getting my jamba-macros to work. I have two toons on the same realm, their names in the jamba-team section are listed in the format name-server. When I build macros for my team I have toon names in them in name-server format which seems to bug the macros out, as I get "Unknown unit" error every time I hit a macro with a character name. If I make a macro by myself with names written without the server, without using the #master# and #minion# tags, I do not encounter such problems, but the purpose of jamba-macros is lost.

Could you please look into it?

First of all, i've been havin' a marvelous use of Jamba over the years and would like to thank you for that, and wish you the best of joy in the future!

I would also like to raise a question in regards to an issue that started when i recently started boxing again..
The option under Quest completition to make it auto select best item and claim it aswell, does not seem to be working at all for me.

Is this due Warlords of Draenor?

Ok, I worked on this a bit and I have a fix for setting master looter when you change master.
Go to the Jamba folder and edit the JambaTeam.lua file.
Find the following line:

SetLootMethod( desiredLootOption, GetMasterName(), 1 )

Change this line to:

SetLootMethod( desiredLootOption, "player", 1 )

The GetMasterName returns with Name-RealmName and the master loot command doesn't like that at all. When running our own groups we should be firing the Iammaster from the window/character that we want to be leader/master/master looter. Therefore simply using current window character name is all we need. If you are raid leader and need to assign master loot then you would need to turn off the auto loot settings in jamba.

This works great just like it did before realm name integration.

Edit: Using the current version of Jamba that is up on curse: release-6.0.3-3

I have released a version of Jamba that does not have any of the newer cross realm support in it and has a few bug fixes for the item bar and quest watcher. This will probably be my last release.

Out of the blue, my team now consists of my normal team x2. So i play with 5 monks and now i have 10. I can delete 4 of them, but one is always the master and i cannot delete that one. Setting a new master doesnt work, as i get the message that that char isnt a part of my team

It's probably worth noting that if you can't delete settings/data/etc. in-game, you can always resort to the nuclear option of removing the settings LUA file(s) for that addon from your WTF folder.

Meh, the previous version is working great for me, so unless there are any super duper fixes that I absolutely need in the 6.0.3.4 version I think I'll stick w/ what I got. Thanks for the fix though, will keep it in mind if I do decide to update in the future.

I still have problems with this. Editing the jamba.lua file didnt solve the problem. Resetting the profile did. However, when i create my team again, the settings arent received by my slaves. It does send the settings from the master.

Do you use ISBoxer?
If you do - you have to select "WoW: Disable ISBoxer management of Jamba Addon team" from the character sets you play on.
That made all my Jamba related issues disappear.

Dont think i had to do that ever before like that, but at least its working again :)

you might have to reset your jamba*.wtf is the best way to reset it all. if they keep adding you might need to remove isboxer from managing groups

Fwiw, I suspect that the Ace3 Lib that was released not that long ago cutting edge has some problem with Jamba. If I have Ace3 installed as a standalone addon, Jamba will toss a errors quite periodically, serialization issues with communications and the itembar with spells mostly. I removed Ace3 and let the addons use their embedded versions and this clears up.

Ok, I will read through this thread when I have more time, right now this is a quick post to see if there is a fix for it..

I deleted my WTF folder, put my team together again, and still two of my team members don't display their level properly in the team list. Anything I can do other than redoing the team cause I have done that a number of times...

When I rake the realm name out they display properly. Thought it didn't matter before but seems to be a bit of a bug i guess. All well it updates fine now. Probably will stay that way after I reload since ISBoxer won't set it back the way it was now.

cool thanks ill talk to lax asp about this! isboxer is adding player-realm but the addon does not know how to "deal" with it since the new update.

Ok cool. Yeah the addon seems to be working great for me right now, no other issues, though I think the item bar doesn't activate the items at this time, though I don't use it very often right now. If I need to use a quest item or a quest starting item, I can add it to an action bar and broadcast my mouse.

After talking to lax we worked out it would be a better plan to have my addon do this and not change his so i have changed my mind on this matter and added support (Yay i did it) to remove -realmname when adding names to the jamba-team.

Will be starting a new topic as this one is getting out to date. (and i can not edit main post)

Mines been working great.. but sometimes spams my chat with toon name has accepted quest over and over.. and only a full wow restart stops it.
I have had no other issues when making my new team this week. I had to get the latest version on curse, as when I quit wow I wiped everything - including WoW itself.

Jamba-Team
No longer should add -realmname when adding team names to the team list. This is going to help with ISBoxerboxer addon that adds character-realmname
will not help if already have character-reamname and you may need to reset the pofile still, But they should no longer keep getting added by ISBoxer. Idea from Lax
Added a button to add party members to the team under on the GUI team display so you don't have to use the the command line. ( I did not even know this was there.)
Known Issues
* The functions on the quest log bar (abandon all, share all, etc) may no longer work properly.
* Select best quest reward may no longer work properly.

PS: don't ask about the version numbers (i made a mass off git)
